Specialized cryogenic insulation and SS 316L cladding protecting 3,600 linear meters of liquid natural gas transfer pipelines in Mesaieed.
Cryogenic LNG transfer pipelines operate at extremely low temperatures, where moisture ingress can cause ice formation, insulation breakdown, and dangerous cladding failure if the vapor barrier is compromised.
The SolutionWe installed a cellular glass and closed-cell insulation system beneath Stainless Steel 316L cladding (0.5mm), with continuous vapor-sealed joints engineered specifically for sustained sub-zero cryogenic service.
The Result3,600 linear meters of LNG transfer piping now maintain a fully sealed cryogenic insulation envelope, preventing moisture ingress and ice-related cladding failure.
